Turning 30
In just a matter of a few days I turn 30. That’s right, the big 3-0. I used to think I’d be one of those women who didn’t care about turning 30 — it was just one more part of life, and I’d embrace it as it came and continue to kick ass. Pffft.
My Good Will Hunting Moment
The more I hang around writing groups, the more I see that nearly everyone has their own Good Will Hunting moment — that is, some time in their lives an instructor or mentor gave them a confidence boost to continue to pursue writing.

Starbucks Requiring Vaccines/Tests Angers People Almost as Much as Their Holiday Cup Designs
I came across an article that tickled me yesterday. Basically, I was browsing the Facebooks, as one does, and saw an Associated Press article reporting on the Starbucks policy of partners needing to be fully vaccinated, or test weekly, if they want to continue to work there.
